Vastu For Construction of Septic Tank
Septic tanks should not be in the south-east, north-east or south-west corner under any condition. If there is paucity of space, the septic tank can be built in the northern corner of the west side, but 30 to 60 cms (1 to 2 feet) away from the compound wall. The length of the septic tank should be in the east-west direction and breadth in the south north, as far as possible.
The septic tank should not be higher than the plinth level of the building. It should be at ground level, as far as possible. The outlet of the septic tank can be in the north or the west.
Drainage Pipeline
Pipelines in the bathroom and the kitchen should have their outlets in the east or north direction. Outlets should not be in the south under any condition. If at all it is in the south it should be turned to the east or north direction. The pipes of the toilets and bathrooms should be diverted to the west or north-west direction and then the outlets be allowed. The gutter in the building can be in any direction other than the south. Pipes coming from the upper floors should not be in the south-west corner.
