Kareena Kapoor is yet another star from the infamous Kapoor family to take her place in the Hindi films industry. She made her debut starring opposite Abhishek Bachchan in "Refugee." Though the film didn't do as well as expected, Kareena earned rave reviews.

Born to popular Bollywood stars Randhir Kapoor and Babita Kapoor, 'Bebo' as she is affectionately known, stand 5'5" tall, blue eyed, and is a total extrovert. She wanted to study law in Harvard and had no plans to do anything in Bollywood. But the acting bug took over and now she's in the limelight like her successful sister Karisma! After Refugee, soon offers flowed; she did a couple of movies, Yaadein , Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, Asoka, Mujhe Kuch Khena Hai, Chameli and the latest being Fida. She got Stardust special award for her performance in Chameli. She was also seen in Dev co-starring Amitabh Bachchan and Om Puri. Yuva gave an uplift to her career as it saw considerable success at the box office. Bewafaa and Hulchul are in the pipeline and looks bright. It might just give her that much needed push.

She won the 46th Filmfare Award for best female debut (Refugee). In the well known TV show, 'Rendezvous with Simi Garewal,' she said, that she wants to rule the Indian Cinema industry for years to come. Way to go Bebo!!!!
